Nichelle makes her
way to Blue Ridge Cable-11 News after tackling many news assignments
and making her mark in newsrooms from the Mississippi Delta to the
Keystone State. Nichelle
jump started her career in Salisbury, MD at WMDT-TV and CN8
News-Comcast Cable in Philadelphia but she made her first television
appearance in the Magnolia State. In Mississippi, Nichelle juggled
working as a News Reporter and Greenwood News Bureau Chief for WABG-TV.
After spending more than a year down South she relocated to
Johnstown, PA and reported “live” daily on WJAC-TV.
She earned her B.A
from Temple University and completed internships at stations from
WTFX-FOX 29 to WUSL-Clear Channel Radio in the 4th
largest news market. As
a Temple Owl, she also traveled abroad to London and studied British
Mass Media.
Nichelle is from
the “City of Brotherly Love” and is the eldest of four children.
She attributes her success to her Savior, parents and everyone along
the way that gave her the opportunity to turn her dream into a
reality. In fact, she
says what keeps her motivated is the bible verse Isaiah 54:17.
