Nichelle makes her way to Blue Ridge Cable-11 News after tackling many news assignments and making her mark in newsrooms from the Mississippi Delta to the Keystone State.  Nichelle jump started her career in Salisbury, MD at WMDT-TV and CN8 News-Comcast Cable in Philadelphia but she made her first television appearance in the Magnolia State. In Mississippi, Nichelle juggled working as a News Reporter and Greenwood News Bureau Chief for WABG-TV. After spending more than a year down South she relocated to Johnstown, PA and reported “live” daily on WJAC-TV.

She earned her B.A from Temple University and completed internships at stations from WTFX-FOX 29 to WUSL-Clear Channel Radio in the 4th largest news market.  As a Temple Owl, she also traveled abroad to London and studied British Mass Media.

Nichelle is from the “City of Brotherly Love” and is the eldest of four children. She attributes her success to her Savior, parents and everyone along the way that gave her the opportunity to turn her dream into a reality.  In fact, she says what keeps her motivated is the bible verse Isaiah 54:17.

To catch Nichelle in action, you can watch her reports on Cable-11 News with “Local News You Can Count On.” In fact, Nichelle is always interested in hearing from viewers and so she encourages you to email or call her with your story ideas.
