Juliane Brown is proud to be serving
Northern
Lancaster
County
with their local news needs and happy to be working in her hometown!
She was born and raised in Lititz and is a 2000 graduate of
Warwick
High School
where she caught the broadcasting bug. At
Warwick
, she was an anchor and reporter for their morning news program and
for “What’s Happening at
Warwick
,” which was broadcast on Cable-11. From there Juliane went on to
graduate from
Temple
University
where she was a 2004 summa cum laude graduate. At
Temple
she was a reporter and anchor for the campus news program “
Temple
Update
.” Juliane was a news intern at WGAL channel 8 in
Lancaster. She worked as a wedding and party DJ and full-time dance teacher
before she got her first broadcasting job as a general assignment
reporter at Cable-11 in September, 2005. Then, she made the move to
Erie
,
PA
where she was a general assignment reporter for Action News 24 and
FOX 66. She is happy to be back at Cable-11 as the producer and
anchor for their live nightly newscast and CNN Headline News Local
Edition.
Juliane’s been back at
Cable-11 News since October 2008 and enjoying every minute of
anchoring and producing the live 5:30pm and 10pm newscasts, as well
as CNN Headline News Local Edition.
On her
free time Juliane likes to workout, teach dance classes for her
mother’s dance program, New Line Revue, watch the news, and visit
her twin sister, Jessica, in
Chincoteague
,
VA.
