Jackie
Blais joins Cable 11 News from the Catskill Mountains in New York
and is happy to be in Lancaster County. She used to visit the area
each year with her family as a child and is excited to be here!
Jackie graduated Magna Cum Laude from L.C.C.C. with an Associates
Degree in Broadcast Communications in 2003 and Suma Cum Laude from
Wilkes University in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in
Telecommunications with concentrations in public relations and
journalism. While attending college Jackie was the host of several
TV and Radio shows. She interned at WBRE and L.I.U. Unit # 13 in
N.E.P.A., and during her last semester of college she worked for ABC’s
“The View”. After graduating Jackie moved to the NYC
metropolitan area to start her career as an Audience Production
Assistant for the nationally syndicated show “MARTHA, The Martha
Stewart Show” and was quickly promoted to Audience Coordinator.
She is happy to be working for Cable 11 News since it has been her
life long dream to work on air!
In her spare time Jackie likes to bake, catch up on her favorite TV shows and movies, spend time with her husband and visit her family. If you ever have a story idea please do not hesitate to contact Jackie via email. |
